Start Your Page is operated by Hoskins Travel LLC ("we", "us"). Hoskins Travel LLC is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice. You can reach us at hello@startyourpage.com.

• Account and contact data (name, email address, login credentials) — to create your account, deliver your website, and contact you about your order. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
• Interview content and uploads (your business description, logos, photos, links) — to generate, build and host your website. Legal basis: performance of contract.
• Published site content (text and images you approve) — published publicly at your chosen address at your instruction.
• Support messages — to answer your questions. Legal basis: contract and legitimate interests.
• Usage and device data (IP address, browser, pages viewed, request logs) — for security, fraud and abuse prevention, and improving the product. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
• Marketing preferences — only where you have opted in. Legal basis: consent, withdrawable at any time.

We do not collect or store card numbers. Payments are handled by our reseller, Paddle, as described below.

• Merchant of Record — Paddle.com — for the sale of our product, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
• Service providers / subprocessors — hosting and database providers, AI model providers used to generate your site content, email delivery, and support tooling. They act on our instructions under contract.
• Professional advisers — legal and accounting, where necessary.
• Authorities — where we are required to by law.

We do not sell your personal data.

Account and order records are kept while your account is active and for as long as needed to meet tax and legal obligations. Draft interview content and uploads for sites that are never published are deleted within 12 months. Cancelled sites are taken offline at the end of the paid period and their content is purged 30 days later. After that, data is deleted or anonymised.

Subject to the law that applies to you, you may request access to your personal data, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to restrict or stop certain processing, object to processing based on legitimate interests, request a copy in a portable format, and withdraw consent for marketing at any time. Email hello@startyourpage.com and we will respond within one month. If you are in the UK or EEA you may also complain to your local supervisory authority.

Our hosting, AI and support providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where data leaves the UK or EEA we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, encryption at rest for stored files, role-based access controls and row-level database access rules. No system is perfectly secure, but we review these measures regularly.

We use strictly necessary cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to remember your in-progress interview. We do not use advertising cookies. Any analytics we use is limited to aggregate product usage. You can clear or block cookies in your browser, though sign-in will stop working if you block essential cookies.
